WHAT'S NEW?

It hardly seems possible, but it's now been five years since we opened our Suisun Valley tasting room. To all of you who've supported us: thank you, thank you, for making this possible.

Right now we have over 20 wines--white, rose, red and late harvest--available for tasting on any given day, from five different wineries including us. That's why the sign out front says Suisun Valley Wine Cooperative.

It's at 4495 Suisun Valley Road, just about 3 miles north of Hwy 80 on the west side of the road. We're currently open Thu-Fri-Sat-Sun 12-5.

We have a limited web site at www.svwinecoop.com. We appreciate all of you who've stopped by. There's room for more, though, so come on by!

With considerable regret we left The Cellar Door, a multi-winery tasting room in Sonoma, in late 2009, after more than three years. We greatly appreciate the opportunity it gave us to meet people and present our wines. But there are basically only two of us, and during the 2009 crush it became apparent that we were simply spread too thin. We are grateful for all the support we enjoyed, and for those of you we met at The Cellar Door, please know that we're still alive and kicking, less than a half hour away, in Suisun Valley.

Please come see us!

TASTING EVENTS

Cordelia Rotary Spring Extravaganza March 16, 5-8pm:
Many local wineries (including us), restaurants and breweries will sample their wares to benefit a variety of local charities. Music, raffles and a silent auction also contribute to a lively event. Information on tickets purchases and a list of the charities supported are avaliable at www.cordeliarotary.org.

Solano Wine & Food Jubilee, April 19 :
Solano County's biggest wine and food fund-raiser (i.e., party), to be held at the Nut Tree in Vacaville, benefits the NorthBay Hospice and Bereavement programs. Sunset Cellars is pleased to support an event that has, to date, raised more than $2.8 million for these programs. Information is available at www.wineandfoodjubilee.org
