The grapes were mainly from a vineyard in the northern part of the valley, in a flat bench area along Mankas Corner Road.
The mid-October harvest reflected a long, benign growing season. The long hang time and moderate yields contributed to the wine's complexity and structure,
while maintaining the intensity of the fruit.
